seeking a

Sales Account Manager

to drive revenue growth across strategic accounts in Michigan and Ohio. This role focuses on consultative, solution-oriented selling into complex manufacturing environments and requires strong engagement with engineering, purchasing, and leadership teams. You will represent a broad portfolio of mechanical and configurable automation components used in engineered systems and production equipment. In addition to account growth, this position plays a key role in gathering market intelligence and customer insight to influence future products, services, and go-to-market strategies. The organization offers strong visibility, autonomy, and long-term advancement opportunities as the business continues to expand. Key Responsibilities

Own and grow revenue within assigned strategic accounts across Michigan and Ohio Develop and execute account plans aligned with territory growth objectives Manage pipeline, forecasting, and sales activity through a CRM platform Engage design engineers, buyers, and technical decision-makers throughout the design-in and purchasing process Deliver professional product and solution presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences Support customers through specification, design, and procurement cycles with a consultative approach Identify customer challenges and recommend solutions that improve satisfaction and drive incremental revenue Share customer and competitive insights with sales leadership and cross-functional teams Collaborate with product, engineering, and management teams to support business development initiatives Preferred Background

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field (preferred) 3+ years of experience selling into industrial automation or engineered manufacturing environments Experience selling mechanical components used in automation or assembly equipment Proven ability to sell consultatively to engineers and technical stakeholders Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills Comfortable using CRM tools to manage opportunities and forecast activity Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows-based tools Why This Role
