
Daily Wire is seeking a hands-on Broadcast Engineer to support the technical operations of our broadcast systems and ensure reliable, high-quality production for live and recorded content. Reporting to the Chief Broadcast Engineer, this role provides day-to-day technical support across studios, control rooms, and broadcast infrastructure, requiring strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in fast‑paced, live broadcast environments while meeting industry and regulatory standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of broadcast systems, including signal flow, RF transmission, and studio equipment
Support technical reliability and compliance, including FCC regulations and internal standards
Provide hands‑on support for studio, control room, and field productions, addressing technical issues in live and recorded broadcasts
Perform routine maintenance, testing, and repairs on broadcast equipment
Assist with system upgrades, installations, and documentation of technical processes
Monitor equipment performance to identify and resolve issues proactively
Collaborate closely with Chief Broadcast Engineer, engineering staff, and production teams to support daily operations
Perform additional technical duties as assigned to ensure seamless broadcast quality
Experience & Requirements
2–5 years in broadcast engineering, live production support, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency with RF systems, signal routing, and broadcast transmission
Experience with video/audio routing, servers, and automation systems
Familiarity with FCC regulations and broadcast compliance requirements
Strong troubleshooting skills in live or time‑sensitive environments
Ability to follow technical procedures and elevate issues appropriately
Basic understanding of IT systems, networking, and broadcast integration
Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
