Registered Dietitian
to join our team as a
Nutrition Consultant . This role is ideal for a clinician who excels in evidence-based practice, patient-centered counseling, and innovative approaches to diabetes management and nutrition therapy.
You will play a key role in empowering individuals to improve their health through personalized nutrition guidance, diabetes self-management education, and ongoing support.
What We Are Hiring For:
This is a 1099 Position
Key Responsibilities
Conduct California culinary audits at 10 senior living communities every 6 months.
Review menus for nutrition compliance
Conduct nutrition assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Lead group classes, workshops, or virtual education sessions as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and professional standards
Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and patient engagement initiatives.
Stay current with emerging research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition, or related field
Minimum 5 years of clinical or counseling experience
Strong communication, motivational interviewing, and patient education skills
