Our hotel, steps away from Disney Springs, features 1,011 guest rooms, over 145,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space. We have a pool, lazy river, and fitness center. Our 10+ team members report to the Director of Engineering.

The ideal candidate holds 3+ years experience as an engineering leader within hospitality, with proven ability to lead and develop a team of 20+ employees. Hands‑on experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC and refrigeration, is required. Union experience preferred.

Assistant Director of Engineering will be expected to work as business needs dictate, including varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, to support the operation and ensure the property runs safely and efficiently.

Shift Pattern:

Full availability and flexibility with all shifts throughout the week.

What Will You Be Doing?

Oversee the physical building, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, refrigeration, life safety systems, and grounds

Conduct facility inspections and direct construction, installation, maintenance, and repair activities

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Manage and verify work orders within the property maintenance system

Coordinate with city, county, and state officials regarding permits, inspections, and compliance

Assist with capital projects and property renovations

Lead, develop, schedule, and evaluate team members

Recruit, interview, and train new team members

Act as the Director in their absence

Lead special projects as assigned
