Overview

Senior Digital Optimization Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for setting strategy and driving execution of enterprise-level digital optimization and personalization capabilities. This role works cross-functionally to prioritize, design, pilot, implement, and scale optimization solutions, including advanced targeting rules, automation, decisioning, recommendations, and machine-learning driven experiences, as well as operational and process improvements that mature experimentation and personalization programs. This role leads the end-to-end delivery of split (A/B and multivariate) testing and personalization initiatives across web and app, driving measurable incremental business value. The Senior Digital Optimization Manager partners closely with product, marketing, analytics, engineering, and customer experience teams to identify high-impact opportunities, define success metrics, and deliver continuous customer experience improvements. The role provides strategic mentorship and hands-on leadership across testing and personalization efforts, including experience conceptualization, feasibility assessment, roadmap planning, execution, and rigorous testing methodology. This includes ensuring statistical rigor, test validity, and actionable insights, while delivering against defined service level agreements and business priorities. As a subject matter authority in Digital Optimization, this role delivers consultative guidance to internal partners, translating business goals into testable hypotheses and scalable personalization strategies. Responsibilities include deep test analysis, synthesis of insights, and iterative recommendations that inform future experiences, roadmaps, and investment decisions. This position is a key driver of experimentation and optimization maturity, leading the definition, documentation, and adoption of standard methodologies, governance models, tooling best practices, and operating processes for company-wide A/B testing and personalization. This role is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution of A/B testing and contextual and personalized experiences across Consumer business and marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on web and app homepage experiences and other upper-funnel digital touchpoints. This role is critical to scaling contextual marketing and personalization capabilities as the organization accelerates data-driven, customer-centric experiences in 2026 and beyond, ensuring solutions are scalable, privacy-compliant, and aligned to long-term platform and brand strategy. Job Responsibilities

Plan

and complete optimization and personalization digital campaigns, including the definition of test strategy, goals, return on investment, tracking metrics, sample size, and campaign duration. Strategize

in partnership with cross-functional customers from across the organization, including digital business leads, user experience, design, analysts, product managers, and development. Develop

a testing roadmap to ensure campaigns are run on time and without conflict. Lead A/B testing

process from intake feasibility, creation, analysis, result, and recommendations. Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to evaluate success of optimization efforts, develop insights into customer behavior, and evaluate the efficiency of optimization campaigns. Communicate

the results of optimization programs to a broad audience of customers and executives, providing status of projects and lead deliverable/launch expectations. Evangelize

the business value of Optimization/Personalization and its contributions to business goals and customer satisfaction. Drive Process Improvement

with clearly articulated service level agreements and standardized practices. Identify

gaps and work with business and technology partners to find solutions. Optimization & Personalization

subject matter authority for big-moment campaigns, site migrations, and new platform & architecture development. Serve as a subject matter authority by maintaining a pulse on the latest issues, developments, and trends in Personalization and Digital Optimization to internal as well as external team members. Serve as mentor for Digital Optimization Testing Managers. Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, UX/design or equivalent area of study (Required) Work Experience

7+ years in fast-paced, ever-evolving, high-volume organization. 7+ years Leading optimization projects from inception to completion for large-scale e-commerce or content marketing sites. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Project Management

- Ability to lead multiple projects in highly-matrixed organizations, often with contending priorities. Experienced in development and management of workforce management plans to ensure optimized resource utilization. Subject matter expertise in digital optimization methodology with proven understanding of statistics related to hypothesis testing, including resolving statistical relevance and confidence in results. Strong analytical skills

to measure, lead, analyze and report on Key Performance Indicators with an ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate results clearly. Understanding of targeting capabilities in optimization tools and DMP knowledge (e.g., Adobe Audience Manager). Digital Optimization A/B testing tools

experience (e.g., Adobe Target). Experience working with websites, social media and e-mail campaign platforms. Targeted experience in

digital marketing

or e-commerce. Proficiency with web basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). (Preferred) Experience with Agile, Kanban and Lean methodologies. (Preferred) Experience with enterprise-wide Web Analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics). (Preferred) LI-Corporate At least 18 years of age; legally authorized to work in the United States. Base Pay Range: $105,000 - $189,300 Corporate Bonus Target: 20% The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The actual starting pay will vary based on location, qualifications, and experience.
