Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Senior Enterprise Data Governance Professional will serve as a strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide data governance initiatives, with a particular emphasis on data risk management, responsible data use, and data sharing practices. This role will ensure the organization’s data assets are used in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices to support business objectives and mitigate risks. Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards, with focus on data risk, use, and sharing. Identify, assess, and monitor data-related risks across the enterprise; recommend and support mitigation strategies. Oversee secure and compliant data sharing processes internally and externally, including data sensitivity classification and access management. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and enforce data use guidelines, ensuring ethical and legal use of data assets. Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory, compliance, and contractual data use restrictions. Establish and maintain data stewardship and data owner accountability throughout the organization. Monitor, report, and escalate material events or risks in accordance with the organization’s risk governance framework. Support audit and regulatory examinations related to data governance. Provide oversight and administration of the Protected Information Review Council (PIRC), facilitating reviews, ensuring adherence to enterprise policies, and supporting decision-making regarding protected information use and sharing. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Experience with data governance Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs Experience taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights Experience with reporting and creating metrics for management Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications
