Technical Sales Engineer
to serve as the strategic link between our sales team, engineering experts, and global customers. In this role, you will uncover new growth opportunities by showcasing specialized technical guidance and delivering tailor‑made manufacturing solutions for complex projects.
Qualifications Progressive Industry Experience:
5‑7 years of progressive experience in project engineering and technical sales, specifically within the plastics manufacturing or polymer application sectors.
Manufacturing Depth:
An understanding of mold fabrication processes and the technical features of high‑performance polymer products.
Strategic Sales Acumen:
A proven track record of proactively sourcing custom solutions, meeting sales goals, and navigating complex manufacturing risks.
Project Management Mastery:
Excellent organizational skills with familiarity in MRP/ERP systems, MS Project, and the ability to manage multi‑disciplinary projects without significant supervision.
Technical Educational Foundation:
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or an equivalent technical field.
Responsibilities
Proactively identify and source custom polymer opportunities, expanding the client base through specialized technical outreach.
Effectively showcase the technical features and advantages of the manufacturing processes to prospective clients and engineers.
Collaborate with the internal Engineering team to develop accurate, competitive price quotes and proposals tailored to specific client needs.
Build high‑trust business relationships, ensuring long‑term customer satisfaction through personalized service.
Understand the end‑to‑end manufacturing process to anticipate challenges, formulate mitigation strategies, and manage regional travel (25‑50%) to customer sites.
