We are seeking a Manager of Employee Relations to lead and develop a high‑performing, globally distributed team focused on employee lifecycle and relations. In this role, you will manage complex HR and employee relations matters across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local employment laws while fostering a positive, professional workplace culture. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, guiding performance management, workplace investigations, and employee exit processes. The position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on problem‑solving, providing opportunities to influence organizational culture and operational excellence. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is key, as you drive consistent, high‑quality employee experiences. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the development of policies, processes, and standards that shape global HR practices.

Accountabilities:

Lead and manage a team of Employee Lifecycle Specialists, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance.

Oversee voluntary and involuntary terminations across multiple regions, handling complex and sensitive cases.

Deliver first‑level employee relations support and guidance to internal teams and clients.

Personally manage and advise on escalated employee relations matters to ensure best‑in‑class service.

Act as a primary point of contact for leadership, providing expert HR, compliance, and advisory support.

Partner closely with operations teams to ensure smooth collaboration, high‑quality outcomes, and consistent processes.

Champion a client‑ and employee‑centric approach, maintaining professionalism, integrity, and high service standards.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Operations, including prior experience as a People Manager.

Advanced expertise in performance management, business partnering, employee relations, and local employment laws.

Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues, including involuntary exits, workplace investigations, and disciplinary processes.

Strong leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and culturally diverse teams.

Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communication skills; able to articulate complex concepts clearly.

High levels of discretion, professionalism, and integrity, maintaining confidentiality in all matters.

Agile, resilient, and customer‑centered approach with a tolerance for ambiguity and a proactive mindset.

Cultural awareness and sensitivity to work effectively across global, distributed teams.

Experience in start‑up or scale‑up environments and comfort with asynchronous workflows is a plus.

Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law are preferred.
