Sales Executive, CoStar Debt Solutions – Irvine, CA. Role focuses on expanding strategic relationships with existing clients and high-potential prospects in commercial real estate lending, delivering CoStar Debt Solutions data, analytics, and services to lenders and financial institutions. Key Responsibilities
New Business Development: Identify and close new sales opportunities by demonstrating the value of SaaS, data, and information services tailored for CRE lenders and financial institutions.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with CRE lending clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for expansion.
Territory Engagement: Travel within the assigned region to meet with clients and prospects face-to-face, delivering product value and strengthening partnerships.
Strategic Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders and local field sales teams to align on client goals and maximize client satisfaction.
Market Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of CoStar Debt Solutions and the CRE lending space to position yourself as a trusted advisor.
Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to closing, onboarding, training, and renewals.
Basic Qualifications
4-10 years of solution selling experience with success in owning the full sales cycle from prospect to close.
Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college/university.
A track record of commitment and success with prior employers.
Willing and able to travel to client and prospect locations on a regular basis.
Experience selling SaaS solutions to banks and financial institutions.
Experienced with complex sales processes.
Comfortable with diagnostic selling and delivering solutions to clients and prospects.
Proactive, curious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record check prior to start.
History of success in selling to large organizations with sophisticated buying processes.
Understand fundamentals or economic models and risk models.
Familiar with banking regulations and the regulatory framework in US banking, including stress testing and compliance reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidate is well-versed in technical skills, risk concepts, and selling into HQs of target companies.
Experience selling to banks and Lenders, fluency in data and SaaS solutions for real estate.
Experience selling to large organizations with sophisticated buying processes (enterprise software).
Ability to understand and explain how proprietary data sets integrate with market data.
Understanding of US banking regulations and regulatory framework.
Strong communication and client-centric mindset.
