JR10134The Opportunity
Veradigm connects healthcare's most important stakeholders: providers, payers, and life sciences companies. With
30,000 practices and over 100,000 drs/physicians in our network and one of the industry's richest clinical data assets, we sit at the center of how healthcare is delivered, paid for, and improved through research. We're now entering an exciting new chapter, a strategic transformation to accelerate growth and expand our impact. We're looking for a product leader to build a world-class product organization, one that delivers products customers love, creates measurable business outcomes, and positions Veradigm for long-term leadership in healthcare technology. You'll have the mandate to shape how we build products, executive sponsorship to drive change, and a portfolio of strategic assets to work with.
This role requires deep healthcare IT domain expertise: you understand the needs of independent physician practices and how to deliver value to them directly through clinical, financial, and operational solutions. You also know how to activate a provider network to create value for payers (quality measurement, value-based care, gaps in care) and life sciences (real-world data, patient surveys, pre- and post-approval engagement). On top of this foundation, you bring technical fluency: the ability to engage credibly on system architecture, data platforms, APIs, and engineering tradeoffs, partnering with engineering leadership to make sound technology decisions. What You Will Build
Exceptional Customer Experiences
•
Champion product quality, reliability, and usability as competitive differentiators
•
Work backwards from client needs to prioritize roadmap decisions that drive retention and expansion
•
Partner with Client leadership to continuously improve the end-to-end client experience
Products That Win in Market
•
Partner with Business Unit General Managers across Provider, Payer, and Life Sciences to ensure products meet market needs and launch successfully
•
Build a culture of deep customer understanding: teams that validate problems, test solutions, and make evidence-based decisions before committing resources
•
Drive tight alignment between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure successful market launches
•
Establish the practices that ensure we build products customers want, can use, and that work for our business
A Focused, High-Impact Portfolio
•
Shape strategic investment decisions that concentrate resources on our highest-potential products and markets
•
Converge capabilities to create integrated solutions that no competitor can replicate
•
Own the product strategy that positions Veradigm as the connective tissue between providers, payers, and life sciences
A Unified Product Organization
•
Create a single, enterprise-wide operating model for product management across Provider, Payer, and Life Sciences
•
Establish teams organized around customer outcomes, with clear ownership, accountability, and the autonomy to solve hard problems
•
Design the frameworks and cadences that enable product teams to move fast while staying aligned with company strategy
A True Product-Engineering Partnership
•
Partner with Engineering leadership as true peers, jointly accountable for outcomes, collaborating from the earliest stages of product discovery
•
Bring the technical depth to engage credibly on platform architecture, data strategy, AI enablement, and build-vs-buy decisions
•
Ensure product decisions appropriately account for scalability, security, and long-term platform health
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
•
Own enterprise product vision and portfolio strategy; make clear choices about where to invest and how to win
•
Partner with Business Unit General Managers to align product strategy with market needs and business objectives
•
Define team topology and product area ownership that enables autonomous teams aligned to customer and business outcomes
•
Lead the Product/Platform Cabinet governance process for portfolio-level decisions
•
Set outcome-based objectives that give teams clarity on what to achieve while empowering them to find the best solutions
Product Excellence & Delivery
•
Build discovery as an organizational capability: teams that deeply understand customers, validate assumptions, and de-risk bets before building
•
Drive execution of strategic product initiatives across clinical workflows, revenue cycle, patient engagement, and data platforms

•
Partner with Engineering leadership with shared accountability for product outcomes
•
Engage credibly on technical architecture, system design, API strategy, data platform decisions, and AI enablement
•
Balance product ambition with technical realities: platform convergence, scalability, and security

•
Build, develop, and retain a high-performing product management organization of 50+ professionals
