Job Description The Executive Education Training & Support Consultant is an expert specializing in all aspects of in‑person and digital learning, including the mastery of instructional technology platforms and pedagogical best practices for digital teaching and learning environments. Operating in this multi‑functional position, this person supports all USF faculty who utilize any digital learning platform, researches the latest pedagogical best practices and tools, analyzes data to assess gaps and improve institutional training solutions, manages internal/strategic projects, facilitates events, and provides support through a variety of engagements - including consultation services, live/asynchronous workshops, on‑demand support, online course enhancement, and the creation of effective skill‑building assets in a variety of formats. This role delivers value to the university by building the skills of all executive education faculty facilitating executive learning, ultimately yielding an enhanced learning experience and an increase in faculty success by saving them time/frustration and an increased mastery of in‑person/digital teaching and learning environments.

Responsibilities

Consultation and Support:

Provide consultation and support to all USF executive education faculty who utilize any digital learning technology through scheduled consultations, on-demand support, and scheduled content development.

Design, Development, and Evaluation of DL Resources:

Conceptualize, design, develop, and evaluate skill‑building digital learning resources and communication pieces providing faculty and learners with technical training and effective pedagogical strategies for digital teaching and learning environments (i.e. PDF guides, narrated tutorials, and video content). This includes piloting new tools and implementing pilot studies to inform leadership on validity and scalability.

Workshop Facilitation and Events:

Lead in the facilitation, development, evaluation, and support of live and asynchronous workshop sessions and webinars.

Spearhead:

conceptualization, planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events including focus groups sessions, onsite workshops, and other engagements for both faculty and executive education clients.

Management and Mentoring:

Management of projects on internal projects and/or institutional strategic initiatives and management of OPS staff.

Canvas Course Enhancement:

Work with USF faculty to enhance and update Canvas courses with tools and solutions to optimize the digital learning experience for students.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Master's degree in the field of training, education and/or related disciplines and 3 years of experience.

Degree Equivalency Clause: Six years of direct experience for a master's degree.

SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements

A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed:

(a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;

(b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;

(c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;

(d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
