Overview

Company Overview: A multi-family office and wealth management firm provides financial advisory services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. They are seeking a Director to assist in managing complex client relationships and deliver multidisciplinary solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Understand fundamentals of financial, tax, retirement, and estate planning
  • Offer consultation on client’s strategic asset allocation, portfolio structure design, report overview, and performance monitoring
  • Provide comprehensive guidance to clients regarding investment and portfolio needs
  • Proactively work with FOMT members and Portfolio Analysts to problem-solve and troubleshoot portfolio client implementation, trading, servicing, and reporting
  • Prepare for client meetings, presentations, and conference calls, and oversee the timely internal administration of client accounts and assets
  • Develop strategies that enhance client service delivery
  • Oversee client servicing activities, including the coordination of client infrastructure documentation and portfolio trading
  • Spearhead and recommend portfolio rebalancing strategies
  • Prepare client follow-up memoranda and other supporting reports/documents
  • Oversee and manage annual client tax reporting efforts
  • Assist with new client onboarding and coordination of asset management and trust/custody relationships
  • Monitor client portfolios, including cash management and liquidity provisioning
  • Prepare client-ready draft emails on portfolio and financial planning actions
  • Work with firm personnel in preparing internal management memoranda

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in wealth management, estate planning, and/or tax planning
  • Bachelor’s degree and Series 65 (or equivalent certification) required
  • Advanced degrees and/or certifications (CFP, MBA, CFA, CPA, JD, LLM, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Technology savvy and ability to handle industry software programs

Compensation

Salary: $125,000 – $250,000, Plus Bonus
