Responsibilities
- Lead a strong therapy team and support inter‑departmental collaboration.
- Create and implement new rehabilitation programs for patients.
- Manage daily operations of a busy in‑house therapy department.
- Coordinate rehab admissions and caseload distribution.
- Recruit and supervise rehab staff; ensure orientation and competency.
- Analyze department metrics and maintain accurate billing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and survey readiness.
- Maintain relationships with hospital therapists, physicians, and community partners.
- Provide direct patient treatment.
Qualifications
- Licensed OTA.
- At least 3 years of experience as a therapist.
- Supervisory and/or administrative experience in long‑term care rehabilitation preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare PDPM and ability to manage a variety of payors.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
