Kittleman and Associates is the nation’s first executive search firm dedicated exclusively to recruiting leaders for nonprofit organizations across the country. Kittleman’s search practice focuses on CEO level recruitment throughout the nonprofit sector, including human service organizations, foundations, museums, associations, conservation and environmental organizations, and many others. Founded in 1963, Kittleman has four offices including Boston, Philadelphia, Denver, and its founding office in Chicago.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of communications strategies that enhance our brand presence and attract high-caliber candidates and clients. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for connecting people and ideas.

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of communications campaigns across various channels (social media, email, web, etc.).
  • Maintain and update the company website with relevant content and ensure SEO best practices.
  • Create, coordinate, and manage content for social media updates and email campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns and strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist in managing the firm's social media presence and engagement.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in communications or a similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and marketing software and tools (e.g., Photoshop, Squarespace, Topaz Labs, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, LinkedIn).
  • Experience with website design and management.
  • Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Thoughtful and proactive work-ethic that is grounded in a commitment to service and excellence.
  • Compensation

    The compensation range for this position is $60,000-$68,000 and is commensurate with experience.
