About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as its chief executive leader, with a primary focus on advancing the organization's mission and driving sustainable growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, board partnership, fundraising, external relations, program and mission oversight, as well as operations, administration, and financial management. This hands-on role requires a strategic yet operationally strong nonprofit executive with a proven track record in fundraising, particularly in major gifts, corporate partnerships, and diversified revenue strategies. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to refine and execute the organization's strategy, support board development, and lead initiatives to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization.

Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of nonprofit or related leadership experience, a Bachelor's degree is preferred, and a deep empathy for patients and families affected by brain tumors. The role demands a strong relationship builder who can engage with a variety of stakeholders, including donors, board members, volunteers, and corporate partners. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of developing and executing multi-year plans, and will have solid financial management and organizational skills. Experience in overseeing budgets, working with external financial partners, and managing multiple responsibilities in a small nonprofit environment is essential. The Executive Director will also be expected to maintain strong local engagement in the Atlanta metro area and ensure operational efficiency, compliance with nonprofit standards, and the continued success of the organization's signature events.
