Sales Assistant / Client Intake Specialist (High-Performance Role) – Location: Silver Spring, MD | Employment Type: Full-Time
Department: Business Development / Client Intake | Reports to: Sales Manager / Operations Manager
This is a front-line revenue role for a sharp communicator who thrives on urgency, follow-up, and helping people make confident decisions. You are the first impression of the firm, the guardian of attorney time, and directly responsible for turning qualified inquiries into retained clients.
What You Will Own
Client Intake & Lead Conversion
Respond to new inquiries same-day via phone, email, chat, and in-person.
Conduct structured intake conversations to assess case fit and urgency.
Clearly explain the firm’s services, process, and next steps.
Convert qualified prospects into scheduled consultations and retained clients.
Maintain precise records in the firm’s CRM or case system.
Execute daily follow-up workflows until every lead reaches a final outcome.
Sales Performance & Metrics
Hit weekly and monthly targets for: Consults booked, Show-up rates, Retained clients
Track and improve conversion performance with leadership.
Provide feedback on lead quality and intake friction points.
Internal Coordination
Prepare engagement documents and onboarding packets.
Ensure seamless handoff from intake to legal teams.
Support reporting on pipeline activity and revenue outcomes.
Light Marketing Support
Support workshops, outreach campaigns, and community events.
Ensure messaging aligns with firm positioning.
What Success Looks Like
You consistently convert inquiries into retained clients.
Attorneys receive only properly screened, qualified prospects.
Marketing dollars turn into booked consults and real revenue.
Prospects feel confident, informed, and respected.
Requirements Must Have
Strong phone presence and verbal confidence
Emotional intelligence + persuasion ability
Organized follow-up habits
Comfort with fast pace, deadlines, and accountability
Absolute discretion with confidential information
CRM or case management experience
Strongly Preferred
Prior legal intake, sales, or client service experience
Law firm environment familiarity
Bilingual in Spanish
