Personal Injury Law Firm in Passaic County Seeking Full Time Paralegal Monday through Friday; 9am to 5pm Looking for a conscientious, hardworking individual with ability to prioritize and multitask Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Paralegal Requirements
Propound and respond to written discovery (i.e. complaints, motions, answers to interrogatories, arbitration statements, mediation etc.) Draft demand packages, pleadings, motions, briefs, and written discovery, as necessary to prosecute or defend a civil matter Draft and/or assist with drafting of legal correspondence to be sent to opposing counsel Support attorneys with legal and administrative tasks, as needed Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system Ability to E-file documents using the New Jersey Systems Manage caseload and ensure the timely scheduling and filing of court documents Maintain knowledge of local rules pertaining to (1) calendaring of case appearances and deadlines; (2) submission of pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents Excellent written and verbal communication skills Deadline and detail oriented High standards of professionalism Computer skills required. High keyboard speed. The candidate must be punctual, reliable, and friendly.
