Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this pivotal role, you will support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring efficient case progression and meticulous documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research and case management skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of litigation procedures related to personal injury law. Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including case intake, investigation, and preparation for trial or settlement.

Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies.

Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence.

Manage and organize case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Review medical records, accident reports, and other pertinent documents for relevance and completeness.

Coordinate client interviews and witness statements with professionalism and sensitivity.

Maintain detailed case calendars to track deadlines, court dates, and procedural requirements.

Prepare trial exhibits, summaries, and reports to facilitate effective courtroom presentation.

Perform data entry and filing tasks accurately within legal administrative systems.

Support administrative functions including phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.

Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve overall case management efficiency.

Qualifications

Paralegal experience in personal injury law or related litigation fields is required.

Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.

Experience with legal case management software including PCLaw, iManage, or similar systems.

Knowledge of relevant areas such as Workers’ Compensation Law, Landlord-Tenant Law, Family Law, Securities Law, Tribal Law & Regulations, Patent Law, Estate Planning, Environmental Law, UCC Law (Uniform Commercial Code), Immigration Law, and Litigation procedures is advantageous.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple cases effectively.

Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.

Attention to detail in proofreading and document review processes.

Effective interviewing skills for client interactions.

Familiarity with legal administrative support tasks such as transcription, contracts review, filing procedures, data entry, and document management systems.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment.
