What You'll Do
Be the friendly, knowledgeable voice our customers rely on – answering calls promptly and professionally.
Manage a high volume of calls, providing expert service to company foremen, plant and worksite teams, and external customers.
Accurately take and process orders, ensuring detailed delivery and product information is captured every time.
Efficiently schedule driver orders to maximize customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Build lasting relationships with customers, problem-solve order inquiries, and proactively address concerns.
Monitor dispatch operations, communicate delivery updates, and reschedule as needed for optimal service.
Reach out to customers for specific order details and encourage new or repeat business.
Collaborate closely with sales, quality control, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Take on varied responsibilities and assist teammates and supervisors as needed.
Maintain reliable attendance and consistency, embodying our commitment to excellence.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience (2-4 years) in dispatch or customer service roles, preferably in the concrete or ready‑mix industry.
High school diploma or GED required; AA degree or college‑level coursework preferred.
Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
Minimum age: 18 years.
Ability to pass pre‑employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
Willingness to work 50-55 hours per week, including weekends (rotational schedule).
Adaptability to change priorities and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, organization, and decision‑making skills.
Resourceful, independent thinkers who thrive under pressure and respond effectively to challenges.
Technologically savvy, with proficiency in computer monitoring and dispatch systems.
General knowledge of concrete and related industry practices a plus.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
Lift and move objects weighing up to 50–75 lbs as needed.
Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
