
Overview
The Merchandiser will assist with the product selection and placement within stores for seasonal changeouts, promotions, and everyday products. Propose and implement resets, new item placement, promotional displays, and seasonal area plans to maximize turns and profit margins. Additionally will monitor merchandising standards for on-shelf and display products. Responsibilities
Assists with timely seasonal display changeouts. Assists merchandising of new products and seasonal change outs in accordance with company standards. Executes endcap plans. Executes in aisle resets and planograms in response to changing market conditions and customer shopping patterns. Ensures and assists with the timely execution of merchandising plans. Monitors the flow of merchandise in back rooms, storage areas and the shelf to ensure all necessary product is on the floor available for sale. Monitors appropriate signage and pricing execution. Monitors front end cash register merchandising to maximize ROI on these high impulse, high traffic areas. Travel to stores to evaluate overall execution of merchandising plans, shelf conditions and adherence to merchandising standards. Experience/Education
High School Diploma or GED Preferred 5 years retail experience required. Combination of post-secondary education and other related experience may be substituted for retail experience requirement. Company Description

Work is performed in a store setting with ability to speak and receive phone communications often. Work requires computer usage with strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment. Continuously standing, walking, reaching at/below shoulders, frequently lift/carry up to 10 pounds below waist, up to 20 pounds at waist/chest and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
