Digital Print Operator II Payrate:
$19-$21/hr. on W2 (On-Site) Location:
Houston, TX (On-Site) Duration:
12+ Months (Possible Extension) Key Responsibilities
Produce printed products using various digital print technologies such as Xerox and Ricoh. Effectively operate digital print and bindery equipment in B&W and MICR print production environments. Set up and operate digital printers and production equipment per SOP instructions. Monitor production for quality and accuracy, following SOP and quality procedures. Read work tickets/spec sheets, acquire materials, and load equipment with product/print files. Monitor stock levels and request timely replenishment. Calibrate digital press(es) at the start of each shift (especially for MICR equipment). Perform daily care and maintenance of equipment as per manufacturer guidelines. Stand/walk for extended periods (minimum 8 hours) to monitor equipment input/output. Assist in other production areas, including Automated Inserting. Troubleshoot and resolve computer and printing issues. Maintain a safe working environment and uphold the highest level of confidentiality. Required Skills & Experience
Intermediate level with typically 3-5 years of relevant experience. Working towards full competency in digital print operations. Broader general understanding of the print/production discipline. Ability to identify problems, develop potential solutions, and make decisions within defined parameters. Experience operating high-volume digital printers (Xerox, Ricoh, or similar), preferably in MICR/check production or similar environments. Why Work With Us?
