Position Overview As an Inside Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and building strong customer relationships. You will engage with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and close deals. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Strong phone and email skills are a must. Knowledge of Microsoft tools including Teams is critical.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Manage inbound and outbound sales calls to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Sales Strategy: Identify customer needs, recommend suitable products, and provide pricing and availability information.
Lead Management: Generate and qualify leads through research, networking, and industry resources.
Quotations & Follow-Ups: Prepare accurate quotes, negotiate terms, and follow up to close sales effectively.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s broadline components and services to effectively address customer inquiries.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, procurement, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years in inside sales, preferably in electronics distribution or a related industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or a related field.
Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
A customer‑focused mindset with a results‑oriented approach.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Broadline Components and the electronics industry is a plus.
