Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role focuses on providing timely and accurate quotes, following up with clients, and assisting with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction material sales, the ability to read and interpret drawings, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver accurate and timely quotes to clients.
Follow up on quotes and orders to ensure customer satisfaction and timely processing.
Assist with order entry and fulfillment, ensuring all materials are properly counted and shipped.
Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve inquiries and provide updates.
Review and interpret construction drawings to ensure accurate quoting and order processing.
Maintain active records in QuickBooks or similar systems (customer details, order status, etc.).
Collaborate with the shipping department and warehouse to coordinate deliveries.
Support the team with additional tasks as needed, including customer or job site visits.
Develop and maintain professional knowledge of products and industry trends through vendor relationships and technical resources.
