About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a pre-seed, AI-native fintech company as a vital member of our founding team. As the Finance and Operations Director, you will be instrumental in establishing the operational and financial foundation of our business from inception. Working closely with the CEO, you will be the strategic partner that transforms our vision into a scalable, compliant, and financially robust enterprise.
What You'll Do:
Finance:
Design our financial framework for strategic planning and fundraising; play a pivotal role in future fundraising rounds (Seed, Series A); and establish efficient accounting, payroll, and expense systems. Operations:
Develop an operational playbook for growth; oversee legal and compliance matters in partnership with legal counsel; and initiate People Operations functions, including payroll and benefits. Strategy:
Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and founding team on strategic business model decisions, pricing strategies, and long-term corporate planning. Who You Are: You are a seasoned operator with 5-8+ years of experience in high-performance settings such as startup finance, venture capital, or investment banking. You excel in financial modeling and thrive in dynamic environments that allow you to build initiatives from the ground up.
