The Opportunity As the director, you will act as a technology-oriented trade advisor focusing on digitalization and automation to boost productivity. Your key responsibilities will encompass defining the strategic direction of the team, driving business development efforts, nurturing executive-level client relationships, and mentoring emerging leaders in a collaborative and technology-forward atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Define and guide the strategic vision for the Customs and Trade team. Lead business development initiatives to expand client services and outreach. Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and collaboration. Mentor and nurture the next generation of leaders within the team. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages technological innovation and personnel growth. Ensure compliance with professional standards and PwC's organizational policies. Champion initiatives for digitization and automation within trade advisory. Utilize industry insights to provide innovative solutions for clients. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. 8 years of relevant experience. Credentials such as customs broker license or membership in relevant trade associations are advantageous. Expertise in advising clients on compliance with international trade regulations and optimizing trade operations. What Sets You Apart: A Master's Degree in Economics or Public Administration is preferred. Extensive knowledge of trade compliance and customs regulations. Ability to conduct in-depth corporate and international trade research. Experience with market analysis and industry-specific research. Proficient in executing compliance strategies and market assessments. Strategic insight in managing audits by trade authorities. Strong relationship-building skills with clients. Competence in preparing and presenting complex documentation effectively. Proven leadership experience in establishing and communicating a strategic vision. The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
