Primary Function To develop a 3d model based on checking fixture design standards, product and GD&T
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Provides technical guidance to employee, colleagues and/or customers
Develop customer quotes base on supplied content
Assist with Managing Design Leads
Assure that tool designs get done on time and under budget
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Follow larger projects
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Experience with UG NX12
Knowledge of General Motors Checking Fixture Standards a plus
Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and WebEx
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to function with minimal supervision
GD & T knowledge
Understanding of fabrication, machining, time management, materials, tool assembly and inspection a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
