Position Summary
The Trade Ally Liaison will work alongside team members and oversee and implement tasks and activities associated with the program. The Trade Liaison must be able to identify and rectify potential problems and be responsible for coaching, training, and developing contractors to be successful as a program contractor.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the program’s strategic direction regarding energy efficiency and business activities of its customers.
Drive interest and participation in the program with all contractors trades.
Provide education and support to participating and interested contractors through one-on-one and group engagement.
Review applications and documentation to ensure completeness and adherence to program rules and requirements.
Communicate and follow up with program updates and disqualifications to participants.
Maintain, update, and add entries to the program databases accurately, including licenses and contacting participants for information.
Help maintain and update additional program spreadsheets relating to project tracking, lead sharing, and other needs.
Assist participants to ensure they have the correct information and marketing materials to promote the program.
Help with customer service calls, corresponding with customers and contractors with clear direction from the program manager.
Assist with the development and implementation of a plan to attract new contractors to meet program objectives.
Support the outreach and application process to ensure applicants adhere to program rules and requirements.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public.
Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with contractors, vendors, and businesses.
Experience identifying and developing relationships, as well as collaborating with community organizations.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and excellent organizational skills.
Analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports, solve administrative problems, and prioritize work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong history of providing excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong data entry skills in tracking systems/databases.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients, and team members.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and work well with a diverse group of people.
Utilize good judgment to plan and accomplish goals; anticipate and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Must be able to handle a wide variety of duties in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications
At least 2 years of previous energy efficiency industry experience.
Licenses & Certifications Valid driver\'s license with acceptable driving record.
Travel Requirements Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Physical Demands and Work Environment Required to sit, stand, walk; talk and hear; and ability to touch and handle tools and/or controls.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Noise level is typically moderate.
