Job Overview Exchange City Golf Course is seeking a
Golf Course Superintendent
to begin as soon as
March 1st .
The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated leader who sets the standard by example. This individual will be hands‑on, hardworking, and committed to building a well‑trained, engaged, and enthusiastic staff. The Superintendent will foster a positive team‑first culture while contributing to a strong, collaborative work environment focused on course excellence.
Responsibilities
Minimum of three years of experience in golf course management and turf cultural practices; GCSAA membership preferred
Certified and licensed for pesticide application
Plan, organize, and direct all grounds department operations across the property
Report directly to the Director of Golf Operations
Maintain all mechanical equipment in exceptional working condition
Demonstrate a strong understanding of budgeting and financial management
Procure, manage, and oversee all supplies and materials used in daily golf course operations
Possess strong knowledge of irrigation and watering practices, including irrigation systems, pumps, and automatic controls
Train staff on the safe operation, maintenance, and care of all mechanical equipment
Manage grounds staff responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplinary actions, in coordination with the Director of Golf
