When you join Champions, you’ll be supporting hardworking families and elementary-aged kids during out-of-school time, on school grounds. You’ll lead the way toward inspired learning by partnering with administrators or working with students to aim higher and never give up.
Role Camp Director
Responsibilities
Recruit, lead, train, and supervise a team of counselors to create engaging camp experiences and develop best-in-class counselors who are passionate and committed professionals.
Manage the business portfolio and drive decisions to improve revenue and family retention.
Ensure the camp operates effectively, upholds top quality programs through utilization of provided resources, and maintains a high level of health and safety for all campers and counselors.
Promote a strong passion for outdoor activities and nature-oriented consciousness.
Partner with parents who desire the best care and experience for their children.
Cultivate positive relationships with families, counselors, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and client partners.
Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts for new families and children by hosting hiring and enrollment events.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
1 year of summer camp experience as a lead with the ability to recruit, develop, engage, and inspire a team.
A love for children and a strong desire to create engaging and fun environments.
Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
Ability to deliver creative content to families about daily activities.
Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred.
Ability to build strong and sustainable relationships with client partners, with potential daily interactions.
Self-sufficient requiring minimal guidance; resourceful and able to positively work through challenges.
Strong conflict resolution, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
High comfort in or around water and familiarity with water safety.
Must meet state licensing requirements.
Compensation Range of pay: $55,300.00 - $75,000.00 annually.
