Overview
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Wintergreen Resort is central Virginia's four season resort with two award winning golf courses. In the winter, the resort boasts one of the East Coast's most popular ski destinations and Wintergreen Resort has just celebrated its 50th anniversary.
The First Assistant Golf Professional at Stoney Creek will work closely with the Head Professional to provide the resort's members and guests with a memorable golf experience.
To maintain full time status with the resort, the sucessful candidate will be responsible to work with ski operations during the winter months and will transition back to golf in the Spring.
Experience Required
Level 1 Associate or PGA Member
Knowledge of Golf Genius tournament platform is a plus
Understanding of golf shop, POS, tee time management and retail is helpful but will train to become proficient.
Junior golf camps and some private instruction experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Coordinate outings, member tournaments, and junior camps
Golf Genius Tournament Software management
Inventory management
Assisting the Head Golf Professional with managing the golf staff
Communicating effectively with the members and guests at Wintergreen Resort
On course play with Wintergreen Members
