The Illustrator III creates and maintains visual products that support Navy maintenance, training, and technical documentation. This position is contingent upon contract award. Work Model: Remote Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Job Functions: Develop, update, and maintain technical illustrations, diagrams, and drawings in support of engineering, installation, and sustainment activities Produce as-built diagrams, network drawings, schematics, and graphics in approved Government formats Update technical documentation and graphics in coordination with engineers and technical staff Ensure illustrations comply with configuration management and documentation standards Support preparation of briefings, reports, and visual aids for PMRs and technical reviews Performs all other job-related duties assigned. Job Requirements

Mandatory: Associate’s degree in Technical Illustration, Graphic Design, Engineering Graphics, Drafting, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a technical illustrator. Demonstrated experience supporting DoD, Navy, or NAVAIR technical documentation. Experience creating complex technical illustrations from engineering data, drawings, or specifications with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and working knowledge of Photoshop or equivalent image-editing software. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, configuration change documentation. Experience producing exploded views, schematics and diagrams, cutaway and system illustrations, maintenance and training visuals. Working knowledge of applicable Navy / NAVAIR / MIL-STD technical illustration and documentation standards. Current Secret Security Clearance. Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract. U.S. Citizenship. Preferred: Familiarity with Government Contracts. Working Conditions

This position is primarily performed in an office setting using standard office equipment (desk, computer, phone, printer, copier, etc.). Must be able to load/unload materials, tools, and equipment. Comfortable working in confined spaces. Position may be exposed to and is expected to protect internal/external confidential/unclassified information. Physical Requirements

Requires the ability to operate a computer and work in a standard office environment. Effectively communicate information in verbal and written form, read and review information and charts, perform analytical thinking skills, and use sound judgement. Must be able to stoop, bend or squat. Occasional travel may be necessary. Reasonable Accommodation
