Job Description

Under direct supervision of the Sales Manager, our Medical Sales Professional will spend the majority of the time on the road with the primary responsibility of acquiring new medical/healthcare business within the Worcester MA market area. Must have access to a home office where he/she will work when not on the road, and it is expected that he/she will visit his/her corresponding depot at least one time per week. Responsible for establishing solid working relationships with the Route Managers and District Managers who are all integral members of the market area teams. Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings that allows for the exchange of ideas, concepts, trends, competition and opportunities for improvement that may or may not be unique to the individual market area. The primary objective is to maximize profitability for the company within Worcester MA healthcare market areas. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Establish and develop new medical/health care business through all means available including extensive prospecting, cold calling, networking, telemarketing, and referrals. Establish realistic expectations for the customer so that our first impression is a favorable one. Network with existing medical/healthcare account visits in an effort to enhance relationships within the accounts to build and strengthen referral networks. Use CRM to maintain accurate records of cold calling/meeting/presentation/new accounts. Perform random “ride-alongs” with the Route Managers and District Managers so as to build and strengthen relationships among the team and customers while at the same time building and strengthening the referral network. Continue education and embrace professional development through attendance at a minimum of two classes/seminars/programs per year. Company will reimburse for up to two professional development choices provided the Sales Manager approved prior to enrollment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience

HS Diploma. College Degree is preferred Minimum of 5 years experience selling to healthcare professionals in the Northeast Ability to use a CRM for time management. Outside B2B sales experience Proven track record in sales Other Qualifications and Equipment Utilization

Results oriented, strong planner, independent worker, self-motivated and committed to being successful Passion for sales Proven ability to build rapport and close sales Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently Valid driver’s license and safe driving record Requires the ability to use the telephone, computer and calculator. Proficient in Microsoft Applications Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Will be required to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. occasionally, stand and walk frequently throughout the day, driving personal motor vehicle throughout the day. Benefits
