The Director of Data Products for Enterprises is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving Bausch + Lomb's data-driven transformation. This position emphasizes the strategic use of data as a key asset, enhancing areas such as data acquisition, contract management, architecture of data lakes and warehouses, reporting tools, and data governance. The role requires fostering collaboration among IT, business stakeholders, analytics teams, compliance, and legal departments, supporting strategic innovations like AI, ML, and advanced data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and enhance data acquisition and contract management, integrating IQVIA, IRI/Circana, and sales data sources.
Oversee the architecture of data lakes and warehouses, enabling insightful reporting and analytics.
Drive excellence in data product management, focusing on stewardship, master data management (MDM), and customer data platforms (CDP).
Support strategic initiatives by ensuring analytics teams have accurate and timely data.
Manage third-party data access agreements, ensuring compliance and operational improvements.
Act as the business lead for master data management initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships across IT, analytics, compliance, and legal teams.
Facilitate cross-functional Data Governance Council meetings to negotiate and resolve data issues.
Establish governance rules for data integrity, user access, and stewardship processes.
Champion change management and communication for information management initiatives.
Engage with industry best practices to enhance customer data management.
Provide expert leadership in AI, ML, and data product engineering to operationalize analytics and automation across the enterprise.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, data science, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, MedTech, or consumer health industry; 7+ years preferred.
6+ years of proven project management in data-related fields, including master data, reporting, and data asset management.
Expertise with IQVIA, IRI/Circana, consumer trade promotion, and related tools.
Demonstrated experience in data product management, data acquisition, and governance.
Practical knowledge of AI, ML Ops, and operationalizing machine learning models.
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Experience in sales operations and team management across therapeutic areas.
Proficient in systems that streamline processes and integrate data.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and data investigation techniques.
Strong interpersonal skills emphasizing leadership, integrity, and efficiency.
Knowledge of information lifecycle policies and control of information resources.
This position will be headquartered in location(s): [[location_obj]]. Remote work options are available for suitable candidates.
