Become the Pharmacy Operations Director You Aspire to Be
Promote the hospital's mission to the pharmacy team, holding them accountable for their performance and encouraging their professional development.
Manage pharmacy department operations, including scheduling, continuous evaluation, and implementation of process improvements.
Provide direct patient and pharmaceutical care.
Ensure competence in clinical pharmacy practices, including antimicrobial stewardship, controlled substances management, and medication safety.
Educate staff on pharmaceutical care and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Keep updated with new medications and evidence-based practices. Work collaboratively with financial management to prepare and oversee departmental budgets.
Lead and participate in various hospital committees such as Quality Assurance and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.

Qualifications
Must be licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board.
Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, or nights as needed.
Availability to work on designated holidays.
