Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee

Safety-Kleen is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee. In this role, you will be trained to drive a Class B box truck, providing onsite service for parts washer machines, picking up containerized hazardous waste, and selling products and services along a defined route. RESPONSIBILITIES Prioritize health and safety by complying with all safe work practices and acting safely at all times. Complete scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner. Swap out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations. Complete all necessary documentation and labeling. Generate and collect leads from customers for new products and services. Sell additional products and services to existing accounts. Adhere to local, state, and federal compliance regulations. Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements. Follow all corporate operating guidelines and procedures. Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Must obtain a CDL B within 180 days of employment (company paid). Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days of receiving your CDL B. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively. Basic computer and math skills required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Problem-solving abilities. Physical capability to meet job requirements. Must successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical examination as required. Preferred Qualifications: Strong customer service skills. Experience in commercial route driving (Class C or non-CDL).
