Product Sales Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled
Product Sales Specialist to join our
US Swine
team at our
Sioux City, Iowa
facility. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between
Sales ,
Product Management ,
Engineering ,
Quality , and
End Users . Their core mission is to
accelerate successful field trials, rapidly resolve product issues, and ensure market feedback loops are tight and actionable .
Your Impact 1. New Product Trials (Full Ownership)
Plan, coordinate, and execute field trials with producers and dealers.
Ensure trial sites are properly selected, trained, and supported.
Create standardized trial plans: objectives, KPIs, data collection timelines.
Gather field data and turn it into actionable insights for Product Management.
Track trial progress, issue logs, performance metrics, and trial outcomes.
Present trial results to Sales, Product, Engineering, and Leadership.
Serve as the
primary point of contact for field escalations that require technical depth beyond standard sales support.
Work collaboratively with Quality and Engineering to root-cause issues.
Coordinate field visits, documentation, photos, data logging, and follow-up.
Maintain real-time visibility of open issues and timelines for resolution.
Provide clear summaries back to dealers, producers, and internal teams.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work hand-in-hand with:
Product Managers
Quality Control
Customer Service
Key Dealers (GCs, service teams, and independent techs)
Ensure product updates, prototype changes, and revisions are clearly communicated.
Close the loop between end-user experience and product development.
4. Field Intelligence & Market Feedback
Collect and synthesize dealer and producer feedback related to:
Performance issues
Feature requests
Competitive comparisons
Translate field intelligence into structured reports for Product Management.
Help prioritize improvements that deliver immediate field value.
5. Technical Sales Enablement
Provide product-specific training to sales reps, dealers, and installers.
Assist in creating:
Sales tools
Technical documents
Trial playbooks
Your Experience and Qualifications
Technical aptitude (electronic controllers, ventilationsystems, feeding systems, motors, sensors,general swine production, etc.)
Excellent communicator across both producer and engineer audiences
Strong project management ability
Data-driven mindset with an ability to document trial outcomes
Comfortable traveling to barns, dealer shops, and test sites
Ability to translate field experience into product improvements
Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Ag Systems Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or other related fields.
Preferred - Minimum of 2 years of experience in agribusiness, technical support, or other industrial settings.
Strong Organizational and Communication skills, as well as close attention to detail
Strong knowledge of the general computer software programs, as well as experience with spreadsheets
Your Compensation and Benefits Expected annual salary for this role will be $65,000 - $90,000, plus eligible for an annual bonus. This is dependent upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.
