Logic LC is seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Advanced Security & Low-Voltage Systemss to lead our growing Field Operations division. This leadership role blends technical acumen with operational oversight to ensure the seamless execution of security and access control installations across commercial and industrial projects. You'll oversee a team of technicians and supervisors, enforce process standards, drive customer satisfaction, and serve as a key escalation point for complex field challenges. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and support the Field Services team, promoting a culture of safety, performance, and ownership.

Oversee the Field Services team as the hiring manager, including working with HR for interview/selection decisions, onboarding, and training, especially in access control.

Conduct regular performance evaluations, coach team members, and close skill gaps through ongoing development.

Operational Oversight

Assign tasks and resources across field projects to ensure quality delivery and technician workload balance.

Collaborate with scheduling and project teams to optimize daily operations and meet service timelines.

Monitor project progress, enforce standards, and solve on-site challenges proactively.

Ensure compliance with safety policies, regulatory guidelines, and company procedures.

Technical Leadership

Provide expert-level guidance for escalated field issues in access control, structured cabling, networking, and security systems.

Evaluate and improve service delivery workflows to increase consistency, quality, and efficiency.

Coordinate tools, equipment, and vendor relationships to support successful project execution.

Customer & Stakeholder Relations

Act as a senior escalation point for key clients; resolve concerns quickly and maintain strong relationships.

Conduct site visits to verify quality standards and identify improvement opportunities.

Partner with Sales and Project Management teams to align service execution with client needs.

Performance Management

Track and report KPIs including technician utilization, project timelines, and client satisfaction.

Present operational performance updates to executives and recommend process enhancements.

Use technology to streamline accountability, reporting, and communication.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Education

8+ years in field services, security systems, or technical installation roles.

4-7 years of leadership experience overseeing field teams and supervisors.

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field preferred (Associate's degree minimum).

Strong hands-on experience in access control, security systems, structured cabling, and networking.

Technical & Operational Skills

Advanced knowledge of access control, CCTV, structured cabling, and IT infrastructure.

Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

Proficiency with field service ticketing and project management tools.

Strong troubleshooting and system diagnostics capabilities.

Certifications (Required & Preferred)

Required:

BICSI Technician Certification

OSHA 30 Certification (or equivalent)

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Preferred:

Manufacturer-specific access control or camera system certifications

PMP Certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)

Soft Skills

Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Clear, confident communicator with technicians, clients, and leadership.

Highly organized and efficient, able to manage multiple priorities in the field.
