Junior Lighting Designer (13 years experience)
to join our collaborative, design-driven studio in New York City. This is a hands-on role for a designer with a strong interest in architectural lighting and the built environment, and who s excited to be involved across all phases of design, from early concept through construction and site work. We welcome applicants from lighting design and architecture backgrounds who bring demonstrated lighting knowledge and a clear interest in lighting-focused work. You ll work closely with our team on a wide range of active projects, collaborating with architects, interior designers, engineers, and manufacturers while building both technical and design skills along the way. What you ll be doing
Developing lighting plans, diagrams, and fixture schedules Researching fixtures and preparing cut sheets, specifications, and presentations Producing and maintaining AutoCAD drawings Supporting schematic design, design development, and construction documentation Participating in design reviews, site visits, and focusing sessions What we re looking for
13 years of professional experience in architectural lighting or a closely related field A degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or similar A solid understanding of lighting principles and applications Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite Revit and AGi32 experience is a plus Thoughtful, detail-oriented, and collaborative What we offer
