Sales Representative – Fleet Services / Transportation / Industrial (Florida)
Sales Talent Inc., Fort Myers, Florida, United States, 33916
We’re partnering with a private-equity-backed fleet services and specialized transportation platform experiencing rapid national expansion through acquisition and organic growth. This is a rare opportunity to step into a proven territory with existing revenue while helping shape a modern sales motion inside a legacy, mission-critical industry.
In this role, you will own a defined territory and drive a predominantly net-new, hunter-led sales motion while expanding relationships with existing commercial and municipal accounts. You’ll sell mission-critical towing, recovery, and specialized transportation services to fleet, maintenance, and operations leaders where uptime, safety, and reliability matter. You’ll work closely with local leadership and play a key role in establishing how sales is done as the platform continues to scale nationally.
Why This Role Is Different
Stepping into a strong, established territory with existing revenue and meaningful upside
Platform generates $300M+ in annual revenue with continued M&A planned
Operates the largest towing and recovery fleet in North America (1,000+ vehicles, 40+ terminals)
Private-equity backed with committed capital for growth, systems, and GTM build-out
Rare mix of national scale with local execution
Selling services that are non-discretionary and mission‑critical to customers
Blue‑collar, ops‑driven culture with strong collaboration across the sales team
Compensation & Benefits
OTE: ~$130K+ (uncapped)
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) plan (employer match targeted by year‑end)
Auto allowance based on territory ($600–$800/month; negotiable)
Company‑provided laptop and cellphone
Home office monitor setup provided
Hardest Part of the Job The biggest challenge in this role is learning how to effectively position the value proposition with the ideal customer profile. Success requires overcoming initial objections, navigating gatekeepers, and earning credibility with operations‑focused decision‑makers. Reps who do well are comfortable having direct conversations, adapting their messaging, and staying persistent through pushback.
Qualifications
1+ years of sales experience selling into fleet, maintenance, operations, logistics, industrial, MRO, or equipment‑adjacent environments
Comfortable operating in blue‑collar, ops‑driven settings
Strong hunting instincts with the ability to plan and manage a territory
Ability to understand and speak to services and equipment at a functional level
Degree not required; relevant sales experience prioritized
