What You’ll Do
Lead integrated communications strategies aligned with client mission, audience, and moment
Develop core messaging, narrative frameworks, positioning, and brand voice guidance
Translate complex policy, public affairs, and social impact issues into clear, compelling stories
Build media strategies, pitches, talking points, and executive briefing materials
Support crisis communications planning and rapid-response messaging
Design and execute campaigns across earned media, email, digital, and social channels
Prepare leaders for media interviews, public remarks, and stakeholder engagements
Oversee editorial content including op-eds, speeches, newsletters, and web copy
Serve as a senior strategic partner to clients and collaborate closely with the Founder
What We’re Looking For
8–12+ years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, journalism, public affairs, or related fields
Experience working with public officials, government entities, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations
Strong background in media relations, crisis communications, and executive-level messaging
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative collective
Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-visibility, and politically or culturally nuanced environments
Flexible engagement: project-based, monthly retainer, or campaign-specific
