B2B Sales Account Manager, Educational Tours SUMMARY The B2B Sales Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and cultivating lasting client relationships for Corporate Travel’s Educational Tours Division. This position requires a dynamic, results-oriented professional with a strong background in sales, client engagement, and strategic communication. As a public-facing representative of the organization, the B2B Sales Account Manager must demonstrate exceptional presentation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with qualified group leaders

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the sales and tour planning process

Collaborate with the group operations team to design and sell customized, educational itineraries for group tours

Present compelling sales pitches and promotional materials to prospective clients

Lead client-facing meetings, including sales presentations, intake sessions, and pre-departure briefings

Maintain expert-level knowledge of Corporate Travel’s Educational Tours products, destinations, and services

Collaborate with the Design team to develop materials that support sales efforts

Ensure timely delivery of proposals, contracts, and client documents

Continuously expand product knowledge, including historical sites, entertainment, cultural attractions, lodging, and dining in key destinations

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate leads and build brand awareness

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business AND proven experience (at least 5 years) in B2B sales

Business development, or client relationship management

Familiarity with domestic destinations

Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage large groups

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

CRM system experience preferred

Canva experience preferred

Willingness to travel for sales meetings, training, and event production

Professional demeanor, punctuality, and a client-first mindset

Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Willingness to support endeavors outside of business hours when necessary
