The Sales Support Specialist supports the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) by managing the early stages of the sales process. The role focuses on qualifying leads, coordinating customer communication, preparing applications, and submitting valuation requests before deals reach credit review. This position ensures the sales pipeline moves efficiently by maintaining accurate data, improving deal flow, and providing complete, organized packages for the operations team. Through strong collaboration and attention to process accuracy, the Sales Enablement Representative helps RSMs focus on building customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
Success in this role is measured by lead conversion rates, CRM accuracy, and the timeliness of deal handoffs to credit and operations teams.
Key Roles / Responsibilities:
Qualify incoming referrals and leads, initiate customer contact, and gather preliminary information to support credit review.
Collect and organize required documentation for customers and equipment prior to submission.
Coordinate valuation requests and ensure completion before deal handoff.
Maintain accurate data in Salesforce to track activity, maintain data accuracy, and support performance reports.
Prepare weekly sales reports and scorecards that track performance, pipeline, and activity metrics.
Support RSMs with marketing and lead-generation initiatives.
Manage broker, vendor, and dealer onboarding requirements and maintain related records.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition once deals move to credit review.
Identifies opportunities to streamline pre-credit workflows and enhance lead management efficiency.
Participate in special projects that improve sales efficiency and process consistency.
Required Experience, Education, and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
Experience in sales support, financial services, or customer engagement preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce and EDA preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Self-driven and team-oriented with a focus on supporting business growth.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Experience with cross-functional or direct teams.
Familiarity with OKRs, KPIs, and performance management frameworks.
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
