Job Description Yakult USA, the world’s leading probiotic drink manufacturer, is hiring a Sales Field Representative to cover the Cincinnati, OH area and surrounding areas.

Location to cover: Cincinnati, OH area

– Primarily work from home and serve as a central point of contact for assigned areas.

Direct hire with great benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(k), etc.)

Salary range: $24.50–$26.50 per hour

Mileage reimbursement

Work schedule: Mon, Thurs & Fri 7:00 am–4:00 pm; Sat & Sun 8:00 am–5:00 pm (Tues & Wed off)

Requirements of the Sales Field Representative

High school diploma or GED.

Able to work a flexible schedule; schedule may require weekends, overtime, and weekly changes.

Field Sales / Account Manager experience with grocery chain stores is a must.

Experience in the food/beverage industry is preferred; consumer goods experience is a plus.

Ability to drive from site to site throughout a regular shift under typical driving conditions for the territory.

Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with no restrictions.

Computer literacy and ability to navigate the Internet, Windows, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.

Must work with little supervision and be a self‑starter.

Must be a team player and take initiative.

Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities of the Sales Field Representative

Primarily work from home and serve as a central point of contact for the assigned areas, developing relationships with retailers and educating store and consumers.

Visit grocery stores to meet with store managers, dairy managers, and product demonstration personnel. May include multi‑day trips to other states.

Utilize sales tools efficiently and negotiate additional exposure to build brand awareness.

Complete daily administrative work within an 8‑hour workday.

Perform other activities requested by supervisor for special projects (e.g., opening new businesses in other channels).

Conduct field surveys to collect information from in‑store customers and event participants.

Submit field survey data within requested deadlines.

Train/educate product demonstration personnel in stores.

Establish and build retail relationships by maintaining a regular, frequent schedule of visits to retailers in the territory.

Educate dairy managers and other appropriate retailer personnel about product issues, marketing objectives, and programs.

Rotate and restock shelves during store visits.

Clean shelves and remove expired or damaged products.

Request optimal product placement in assigned stores.

Utilize promotional materials in stores.

Monitor and maintain retail integrity and compliance on all store calls.

Provide grocery store chain‑specific information and communication on a daily basis as needed.

Provide accurate photo records of store visits and tangible targets achieved.

Support the manager in planning, executing, and evaluating sales efforts, including demos and store activities.

Maximize efforts to ensure orders are placed before in‑store demonstrations.

Perform timely demo visits according to calendar.

Evaluate demonstrator’s performance and give appropriate feedback to the sales department.

Communicate with supervisors and the sales team on an ongoing basis.

Attend trainings and meetings as scheduled with the manager.

Maintain all company‑provided equipment and materials in acceptable working order.

Pick up/deliver product as needed.

Execute in‑store demonstrations when required.

Participate in sampling events and sampling activity for influencers in each area.

Assist with pick‑ups, deliveries, or transfers of cooler units from store to store.

Negotiate cooler placement and temporary or permanent locations at store level.

Communicate with consumers while working at stores to educate them about the benefits of our products.

Additional objectives may be added as needed by management to meet company direction.
