Compensation Overview
The annual base salary for this position varies nationwide. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including the scope of work, candidate experience, and location. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits program, including performance-based cash awards.
Salary Range
$94,400.00 - $155,800.00
What Is the Opportunity?
As a key member of the Claim Communications, Marketing & CX team, you will turn innovative ideas into stunning visuals. This role allows you to polish your design skills and explore creative projects while contributing to team objectives. Your passion for creativity and excellence will drive our success and encourage an innovative and high-quality working environment.
In your role as a Senior Graphic Designer, you will create and design visual content for various channels, including presentations, digital media, video, and print materials. You will collaborate with leaders, colleagues, and external partners to ensure the highest quality design and impactful presentations.
What Will You Do?
Support high-level presentation development for external and important internal audiences.
Transform complex business objectives and concepts into engaging visual stories that resonate with stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to Travelers' visual identity standards across all brand materials for consistency and impact.
Create diverse content for varied platforms, including PowerPoint presentations, illustrations, motion graphics, and branding elements.
Collaborate with team members, vendors, and other departments throughout the production of visual and digital materials.
Assist in video production by providing illustrations and effects as well as insights on concepts and storyboarding.
Stay updated on emerging trends and tools in graphic design and illustration.
Guide team members, ensuring visual materials align with Travelers' brand guidelines and follow approval processes.
Oversee graphic design projects completed outside of the immediate team when necessary.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Professional maturity and skills to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, translating strategic ideas into visual presentations.
Experience engaging with diverse organizational levels, balancing feedback receptiveness with expert design guidance.
At least seven years of progressive experience in graphic and digital design, particularly in executive-level presentations.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Expertise in graphic design software including Adobe Premier, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender, and HTML, and a knack for creating effective video effects.
A portfolio that showcases your ability to simplify complex business concepts through visual storytelling.
Strong project management skills that allow you to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Able to work independently, collaborate as a team member, and lead when necessary.
What Is a Must Have?
A minimum of five years' experience in digital and graphic design.
