The ideal candidate has specific knowledge of hardness testing and also is a good prospector/ hunter. This is a heavy prospecting position where the person absolutely has to have industry knowledge, and if they have a current client list that is a bonus.
Sales Account Manager
In this ambitious and challenging role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and expansion of our client in the United States and Canadian markets along with the training & management of customers/distributors as well as supporting trade shows, seminars, and exhibitions.
The persons we are looking for have profound knowledge of materials testing in general and a good understanding of metallurgical hardness testing.
Primarily self-responsible for the growth of sales and markets in your territories
Service existing accounts, establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential distributors
Prepare and follow up on quotations and pricing in your region
Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/conferences, reviewing professional publications, and establishing and utilizing personal networks.
Managing and expanding the network of distributors and agents in particular territories
Gather and share information on market trends
Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
Direct Sales to Key Customers or Institutes
