Position Overview
At Autodesk, we are on a mission to redefine the Design and Make category, showcasing the evolving synergy between design and manufacturing across various industries, including Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations; Product Design and Manufacturing; and Media and Entertainment. We are looking for a talented Analyst Relations (AR) Manager to enhance how industry analysts perceive and articulate our category, influencing market perception and fueling growth for Autodesk's business.
In this role, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Corporate Communications & Analyst Relations, you will be essential in expanding Autodesk's influence among key industry analysts. You will craft and implement engagement strategies to reinforce Autodesk's presence in critical research, elevate our innovation narrative, and foster a deeper understanding of the value we provide across industries.

Responsibilities
Shape Category Leadership
Define and drive Autodesk's narrative in the Design and Make sector within the analyst community.
Partner with teams in Communications, Marketing, Product, and Strategy to align our analyst engagement efforts with Autodesk's objectives.
Ensure that analysts recognize Autodesk's role in integrating design and make workflows, highlighting how our vision sets us apart from competitors.
Identify opportunities to influence major analyst firms' perspectives on industry categorization.
Analyst Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key analysts from leading firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and others.
Organize analyst briefings, inquiries, and events to clearly communicate Autodesk's vision, innovation trajectory, and customer achievements.
Oversee Autodesk's involvement in significant analyst evaluations (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave, IDC MarketScape) with precision.
Collaborate with our AR agency to ensure the ongoing success of our analyst strategy, engagement, and assessments.
Internal Collaboration
Prepare executives and subject matter experts for analyst interactions, including crafting briefing materials and following up on key discussions.
Synthesize and relay analyst feedback to refine Autodesk's messaging, positioning, and market strategies.
Summarize key analyst insights for internal stakeholders to guide informed decision-making and enhance alignment.
Program Operations
Track and evaluate the impact of the AR program via perception, sentiment, and share of voice metrics regarding Autodesk's leadership in Design and Make.
Maintain the analyst engagement calendar, database, and coverage tracking.
Assist with planning, reporting, and budget management within the AR function.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Corporate Communications, or Marketing within the B2B technology sector, either in-house or agency-based.
Demonstrated success in managing relationships with analysts and leading research evaluations from top-tier firms.
Strong grasp of how industry analysts impact enterprise technology decision-making and influence the emergence of new categories.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of distilling complex technology concepts into engaging narratives.
Highly organized and proactive, with an acute attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
Experience using AR management tools and collaborating with agency partners.
Previous involvement in category creation, Magic Quadrants, or repositioning initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Autodesk's industries and related design and make technologies.
Experience in product and technology communications.
Comfortable working with senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams.

Salary Transparency
Salary constitutes one aspect of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based positions, we anticipate a starting base salary ranging from $115,600 to $187,000, with offers tailored to the candidate’s experience and location, which may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation program may include bonuses, commissions for sales positions, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
