Responsibilities Include: Provide responsible alcohol service in compliance with local and state laws. Assist in all store operations, focusing on cleanliness, visual displays, safety, and customer service. Ensure customer satisfaction through product knowledge and teamwork. Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends. Set and achieve high standards in retail execution. Communicate regularly with Store Team Leaders regarding store operations. Operate the POS system, including cash handling accurately. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, including managing the store phone system. Execute all financial transactions with accuracy. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates should possess: Must be at least 21 years of age. Strong understanding of company policies and goals. Integrity and professionalism in all interactions. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Confidence in engaging with customers to enhance their experience. Ability to work well with team members and leadership. Proficiency with relevant technology for daily tasks. Desire for ongoing development of retail sales skills. Creativity in promoting sales and merchandising. Capability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality improvement. Full knowledge of TABC regulations. Previous retail experience preferred. Product knowledge in wine and spirits is a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 4-hour intervals and work up to 40 hours per week. Capability to climb ladders frequently. Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling. Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, including opening and closing shifts. Ability to work independently during assigned shifts. Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have direct reports. Expected Work Hours: Availability to work Monday-Saturday (closed Sundays), within operating hours 9:00am-9:30pm, including weekends and holidays. Travel: Minimal travel required in Texas locations. Preferred Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with 1-3 years of experience in retail, bartending, or restaurant settings.
