Job Summary: The Field Marketing & Community Manager is a dual-focus leadership role responsible for driving the state's holistic marketing strategy. This individual will oversee the operational management of the field team (hiring, budgets, and sales alignment) while simultaneously serving as the primary bridge to the budtender community through the execution of Jeeter University. You will lead the planning and budgeting for state-wide activations, manage and mentor the field marketing team, and ensure that every interaction-from in-store activations to educational "Social Hours" reflects Jeeter's high standards. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance high-level strategy and data analysis with hands-on community engagement and brand education.. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead the state's field marketing team, providing daily direction, support, and mentorship. Manage the full lifecycle of staffing, including hiring, onboarding, training, and initial 90-day support for new hires. Conduct performance evaluations, regular team meetings to align goals, and make staffing recommendations (including promotions and terminations). Create, refine, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for field visits, Jeeter University events, and Social Hours to ensure consistency and operational efficiency. Lead the planning and execution of all Jeeter University education programs, serving as the subject matter expert on current and upcoming product standards, brand storytelling, and go-to-market priorities. Ensure education efforts are directly tied to improving in-store advocacy, visibility, and sell-through. Own the execution of in-market field programs consisting of Hook Up Days, Social Hours, and community activations. Ensure all activations are executed to brand standards, aligned with quarterly KPIs, and optimized for consumer engagement, budtender impact, and retail performance. Partner closely with our VM, Sales and Field teams to drive best-in-class visual merchandising execution. Align with accounts on the placement, installation, and maintenance of Jeeter-branded displays, shelf space, and point-of-sale assets, and provide clear direction on VM standards to elevate retail presence and shoppability. Organize and host budtender Social Hours, awards programs, and apparel giveaways designed to build brand loyalty, strengthen community relationships, and reinforce Jeeter's premium positioning within key retail partners. Develop and manage state-specific budtender VIP and ambassador initiatives, recruiting and nurturing high-impact advocates within dispensaries to participate in Jeeter's community, education, and activation programs. Act as the voice of the market by monitoring local trends, competitive activity, and retail execution opportunities. Translate insights from the field into actionable recommendations for Sales, Marketing, and leadership to continuously improve programs and in-store execution. Oversee the entire state marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation for both general field operations and community events. Approve and track field team expenses (travel, accommodations) and maintain company credit card usage compliance. Create and manage specific budgets for Jeeter University and events, focusing on cost-effectiveness and maximizing Return on Investment (ROI). Collaborate with Sales Regionals to develop marketing strategies that support revenue goals, promotional efforts, and product sell-through rates. Monitor field activities to identify wins, losses, and areas for improvement. Create and manage surveys for budtender campaigns to gather performance data. Provide weekly reports to the Regional Marketing Manager and Sales Managers covering:

KPI performance and impact of field activities. In-store experience metrics and contract status. Jeeter University/Event engagement metrics. Budget updates, asset inventory, and resource requests.

Collaborate with the product development team monthly to stay informed about product roadmaps and ensure the field team is educated on new SKUs. Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the timely distribution of marketing assets and event materials. Required Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and allocating resources in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels (from budtenders to executive leadership). Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Asana, and other project management tools for tracking and reporting. Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. 4+ years of team management experience, including hiring, training, and supervising field or community teams. 4+ years of experience in field marketing, brand activation, and event planning, with a proven track record of executing successful community initiatives. Experience in the cannabis industry or similar regulated sectors is highly preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. Capable of repetitive hand and arm motions as well as extended periods of typing. Capable of looking at a screen for extended periods or entire shifts. Some travel may be required to attend cross-functional team meetings or support product launch events. Work Schedule (Exempt): This is a full-time, exempt position. The role requires the flexibility to work the hours necessary to meet business needs, which may include extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Work schedules and expectations may be adjusted based on operational priorities and organizational demands.
