The Regional Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our business within the assigned region across the United States. This position is responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building and nurturing collegiate relationships, and developing strategic plans to increase revenue and market share. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to tailor solutions that meet regional customer needs and align with overall company objectives. They will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform decision-making and ensure a competitive edge. Ultimately, this role aims to establish a strong regional presence that supports sustainable business growth and long-term success. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within a regional or multi-state context. Life and Health Insurance Sales License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. Strong understanding of market research techniques and competitive analysis. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline. Experience in the specific industry relevant to the company’s products or services. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. Existing network of contacts within the region’s business community. Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated region to achieve sales targets and revenue growth. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster loyalty and repeat business. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and identify emerging trends. Collaborate with internal teams to customize offerings and marketing strategies that address regional customer needs. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to senior management and prospective clients. Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Monitor and report on regional sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet objectives. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility. Skills

The required skills such as communication and negotiation are essential for building and maintaining client relationships and closing deals effectively. Market research and analytical skills enable the manager to understand regional trends and competitor strategies, which inform tactical decisions. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and sales tools helps in tracking progress and managing customer data efficiently. Leadership and project management skills are used to coordinate with internal teams and ensure alignment with business goals. Preferred skills like industry-specific knowledge and an established network enhance the ability to penetrate the market quickly and create strategic partnerships. Compensation will be a combination of a base salary 80K annually plus commission and performance based bonuses. Annual total mod target 250K+.
