About the Role Carrier is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Vertical to join the Global Enterprise Solutions team. This role is responsible for defining and leading Carrier’s Commercial Real Estate vertical strategy—translating market insight into differentiated value propositions, go‑to‑market execution, and measurable growth.

This is a highly visible, cross‑functional role requiring strong strategic thinking, customer insight, and collaboration. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Sales Effectiveness teams to drive share of wallet, accelerate solution adoption, and align Carrier’s portfolio to evolving CRE customer needs. The role is primarily focused on North America, with selective global collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead the Commercial Real Estate vertical strategy and go‑to‑market framework.

Build compelling CRE value propositions aligned to customer objectives and Carrier’s differentiated system solutions.

Develop strategic customer frameworks using insights from 10‑Ks, earnings calls, ESG reports, and industry research.

Partner with sales leaders and account teams to support account plans and align order growth to vertical targets.

Support executive sponsors and sellers with customer‑specific pitch development, emphasizing qualitative and quantitative value.

Collaborate across Carrier business units to deliver integrated, customer‑centric solutions.

Identify and maintain a structured gap analysis of portfolio strengths, gaps, and innovation opportunities specific to CRE needs.

Serve as a key liaison between Sales and Product teams to ensure market‑driven innovation and roadmap alignment.

Partner with Marketing Communications to deliver vertical‑specific messaging, pitch materials, thought leadership, ABM programs, and digital campaigns.

Track and measure marketing ROI across events and campaigns, delivering against defined vertical KPIs.

Work with Sales Effectiveness to align customer segmentation, operating models, and performance measurement within the CRE market.

Monitor and report performance metrics, ensuring insights translate into action and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of experience in Marketing, Strategy, or Business Development

2+ years of experience developing and executing go‑to‑market or strategic initiatives that drive sales growth through differentiated value propositions

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred

Experience working in or serving the Commercial Real Estate market; Integrated Facilities Management company experience strongly preferred

HVAC industry and product knowledge

Experience supporting large strategic or enterprise customers

Strong quantitative, analytical, and KPI‑driven performance orientation

Proven ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams in complex, ambiguous environments

Executive‑level communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Ability to articulate customer value through integrated product and service solutions

Working knowledge of contractual and legal language

Highly organized self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action

Intellectual curiosity and commitment to learning the Carrier portfolio and customer priorities

Experience with Salesforce.com and CRM‑based opportunity management

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Ability to travel up to 20% domestically

Pay Range The annual salary for this position is $146,750–$205,250. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
